You can pay insurance contributions advances by the following means of payment:

Credit card

You may pay insurance contributions advances by credit card, at the deadlines listed on the page of payments that is sent to you, by one of the following means:

Cash

Payment of insurance contributions advances is made at a postal bank, with a remittance stub that sent to you once a year, in the month of January, or by means of a payment slip. To order a payment slip, click here.


Payment is made on the following dates:

  • On 25/2/2025 for the months of October, November and December of the previous year.
  • On 23/4/2025 for the months of January, February and March.
  • On 15/7/2025 for the months of April, May and June.
  • On 19/10/2025 for the months of July, August and September.

Standing order

  • If you wish to start making payment of advances and/or insurance contributions arrear installments by means of a bank standing order, you must fill out the NII standing order form and submit it to your bank's branch managing your account or create debit order on the account for the beneficiary code 28900 through your bank's website.
    Please note, we do not take permanent order that monthly payments or national insurance debts subject to a payment agreement. If you incur a debt, it will not be taken in permanent order without your consent. To obtain a debt settlement plan by payment agreement, click here.

  • If you wish to start making payment of advances and/or insurance contributions arrear installments by means of a credit card standing order, you must fill out an account debiting by credit card instruction form and submit it to the Insurance and Collection Department of your local branch of the National Insurance Institute or by means of the website.
    Payment of insurance contributions advances is made on a monthly basis on the date agreed upon between you and your credit card company.
